I STARTED PLAYIN WITH MUSIC BACK IN '94, I WENT TO COLLEGE FOR RECORDING ENGINEERING IN ORLANDO IN 2002. AFTER I GRADUATED I GOT A STUDIO GIG IN NEW ORLEANS ENGINEERING HIPHOP FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS. I SOON GOT SICK OF THE SHADY INDUSTRY AND STARTED TRIAGE RECORDING IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA. I RELOCATED TRIAGE TO ATLANTIC BEACH IN 2005 TO BE CLOSER TO THE LIVE BAND SCENE. IN APRIL 2007 I FORCED SEPERATION FROM MY STUDIO PARTNER. AFTER A RETROFIT OF THE STUDIO AND THE PURCHASE OF ALTERNATE GEAR, NEW BETTER TRACKS WERE ALREADY BEING PRODUCED WITHIN A MONTH. AFTER WORKING FOR ALMOST A YEAR ON AN EFFECTIVE BUSINESS MODEL, I RESIGNED FROM MY DAY JOB AND BOUGHT A SEARS AUTHORIZED RETAIL DEALER STORE OUTSIDE OF TAMPA WHERE I HAVE SPENT THE MAJORITY OF MY TIME SINCE EARLY SEPT. 2007. I STILL ACTIVELY RECORD AND PRODUCE ARTISTS ALONG WITH MY OWN TWISTED SOUNDS AND INSTRUMENTALS.

I am chris todd, Communications Director a the matterwave collective.
I'm a 26 year old geek whom often feels he's surrounded by people who have so much talent, yet they don't often let the world know about it. This feeling is largely what drives my involvement in the Matterwave collective, and I hope that it grows to be a showcase and launching pad for many creative endeavors.
On my own, I spend alot of time thinking about sound and music. My primary project for this is Phylum Sinter, which might mean a seed-bearing species [phylum] meant to be crushed and used as fuel [to sinter something]. I have released music on Hymen, Abandoned Building, Xynthetic, Subvariant, Nishi, Post Under, and other labels. Currently i am working on two EPs and a 12" split release with Hecq.
Besides obsessing about music, i am constantly enveloped in writing, philosophy, metaphysics, and fractal sciences.
Perhaps i'll write a book someday.

Psy-Sci is Matthew Timpanelli from Staten Island. His name was psychedelascience but was abbreviated by a messageboard poster on the wfmu forum. He became involved in a free music community on a filesharing application called soulseek. The resulting netlabel was called soulseek records and continues to promote new music from unsigned artists. He went on to form SLSK Records with the filesharing application and now works as the Artistic Director there. All the time he was learning about music and becoming influenced by the many artists on soulseek as well as outside influences. His music goes from acoustic to electro, places between and beyond. He was first released on the One Minute Massacre
Volume 1, performing a short piano etude. He has since been released on several small releases and on several netlabel compilations.

MINT is Murray Fisher, London-based co-owner of Boltfish Recordings.
Born in the mid-1970’s he began making music at the age of 5 when he learnt to play the piano.
His style covers an eclectic range of genres but always uses carefully crafted melody as a common thread. His production and composition often delves into the style of playful nursery rhyme tunes accompanied by stuttering beats and atmospheres or heartfelt and touching compositions with a cinematic feel.
He has recorded solo and compilation releases for Boltfish Recordings, The Ministry of Sound, Duotone Records, LacedMilk, Kahvi, Raw42, Sutemos, October Man, ClickClickDrone, Rednetic Recordings, Aerotone, Elpa, Cold Room, U-Cover, Yuki Yaki and others.
